Hi, My name is Carlos and I’m originally from Chile. I moved to Ireland in 2009 and only discovered that I love drawing and painting few years ago. Working on my sketchbooks helped me to get over depression and I’m so thankful for it. I know there is a lot to improve yet, but when I look back to my first drawings I can see a huge difference.
I want to encourage you all to have and work in a sketchbook, it’s so relaxing and satisfying. If you think you can’t, believe me that is not true, I used to think the same, and as you can see, with a lot of flaws, I do draw. I want to thank the organisers for the opportunity and wish them all the success on this project. Hope you all enjoy my sketchbook.
Spectacular!
Thanks Raquel.
Wooow. Love the last one!!
Hello everyone! I am Jeremi, nephew of Carlos Moisés. I remember seeing my uncle’s first attempts at drawing and painting, which he did quite well in my opinion. I must also add that I was studying a specialty in drawing and painting and I felt a lot of tranquility and satisfaction in creating and make drawings and paintings of all kinds…
Nowadays I find myself in a damn depression and anguish about many things in my life, I haven’t drawn for years and I read (translate since I don’t know English) what my uncle wrote in the title of his book that I just saw and read It motivates me even more to continue raising money to travel to Ireland and to be able to draw with it and get ahead in this shitty life that I have led. I add that I rarely talk to my uncle, not because I don’t love him but because I am involved in so many things that I don’t care about. I don’t speak, I don’t see my relatives either, I love my uncle very much and he is the only one who understood me as a child, it won’t be long until I leave for Ireland!
It’s beautiful Carlos!
